Ask Jamila is a personal website run by Jamila Daniel in Trinidad and Tobago.

Messages

The contact form collects your name, email address, optional telephone number and message so Jamila can respond. Messages are stored privately in WordPress and an email notification is sent to Jamila. Contact records are removed from the website after 90 days. Copies in email or hosting backups may remain longer.

Newsletter

Signing up is separate from contacting Jamila. Your name and email address are stored privately. You must confirm your address before the subscription becomes active. Unconfirmed signups expire after seven days. Confirmed subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Each newsletter will include an unsubscribe link.

Site operation

The host processes ordinary access logs. The forms use temporary rate limits and security tokens to reduce unwanted submissions. Google Fonts is used for typography and receives normal browser connection information. This theme does not add advertising or analytics trackers.

You can ask to see, correct or remove information you submitted by using the contact form. For newsletters, use your unsubscribe link.
